I want to thank everyone for all your support and help in reaching our one millionth hit last issue!  Now we hope to reach 2 million hits!  Thanks again to all of you who have been inviting your friends to join Chica Girl.  We are happy to have new members of the ChicaGirl Family!

In this issue, we are discussing many health-related topics.  We talk about how to stay healthy by exercising and eating right. We show how you can save lives by donating blood.  We also raise awareness to the #1 killer of women: heart disease and how the The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2008 Fashion Show has helped in the fight against heart disease in women.

In last month’s issue we invited readers to apply for the ChicaGirl/UIW Scholarship and in this issue we are proud to announce and introduce the ChicaGirl/UIW scholarship winners! Chica Girl is dedicated to higher education.  We want to make a positive difference and increase the number of girls graduating from college.  Congratulations, girls! ¡ Sí se puedes!
