About winning, all I can say is thank you! I still can't believe it...  Because of this scholarship, I will be able to go to Germany in the summer! It is so encouraging to know that someone believes and supports my dreams! Thank you so much ChicaGirl magazine!  ; )

I don't know what to tell you for the small bio...I don't know what so want so I will just write some things and you can choose whatever works best.

• I am the oldest and only girl out of 3 children. As you know, I am studying Fashion Design and Business Marketing. I have been at Incarnate Word for 2 years and hope to graduate May '09.
• I want to eventually have a fashion brand of my own. where I can showcase my creativity and my Mexican roots.
• Most important principles in my life are my family and God, I would not be myself without them.
• Person I admire the most: MY DAD.
• Fave song: You and I Both - Jason Mraz
• Fave book: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
• Fave movie: Amelie... also Pride and Prejudice and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.
• I deeply believe, out of experience, that everything happens for a reason and that in the end, everything will be okay... As I always say: "No pasa nada".
• But I guess what I am really trying to say is "Have faith in yourself, in the future... Have faith in God". That is definitely the message that I would like to give.
